Robert Fallan Chief Executive Officer
Prior to starting Classic SleepCare, Robert was a senior manager advocating for exemplary patient care for patients with heart disease and sleep apnea. Diagnosed with Sleep apnea 5 years ago I didn't think it was any big deal, I felt OK, and so I never used the CPAP machine. Once I realized that it could have very serious long term health consequences (and heart disease and high blood pressure runs in my family), I attempted to wear it. I couldn't get used to using it, still woke up exhausted, and I had no-one to talk to about the questions I had.
I was still able to get through my day (even though I was a little tired, and with a lot of coffee and diet soda)…so I still didn't use it all. I noticed myself becoming extremely tired and sluggish throughout the day, and worst of all, found myself grouchy, irritable and snapping at my wife and kids. After having to go down to my car at 9:00 AM in the morning to take a nap for the 100th time because I couldn't keep my eyes open, I knew I had to do something. I forced myself to use the CPAP machine. After fighting through four different masks and many frustrating nights, I slowly became used to sleeping with it and started to feel much better. I now get through the day without taking a nap, have much more energy, and never feel as exhausted as I once did. I even joke around and laugh a lot more as I'm not as irritable (just ask my wife and kids). " I thought there had to be a lot of people who went through the same experience that I did….and there had to be an easier, more effective way to get used to wearing the CPAP machine.
Rob Brough and I started our company with the firm commitment of being there for people starting out on therapy….being a resource, a shoulder, a confidant and a partner.
Please feel free to call me any time you have a question or an issue pops up. |

Michael Eads M.D. Medical Director
I have been in the business of providing patients with the highest quality medical care available for over 25 years. After completing Medical School at Indiana University in 1977, I entered the practice of Internal Medicine and trained at some of the nations top Medical facilities, including Barnes Hospital, St Louis, MO and Harvard University, Boston, MA. Subsequently, I managed a large multi-specialty Internal Medicine group for 15 years before retiring from active medical practice to pursue other medically related business interests.
I developed an interest in Sleep Medicine when a close personal friend was diagnosed with sleep apnea. My friend was a writer, but suddenly was having great difficulty meeting deadlines. She was tired and had trouble concentrating. My friend had a dramatic improvement with CPAP therapy. In fact the improvement was so rapid and complete that we were all amazed. That was when I really started exploring the then little recognized diagnosis of Sleep Apnea. After only minimal research it was obvious that Sleep Apnea was a VERY common and sometimes debilitating illness. In many cases the onset of the symptoms was so gradual that neither the patient nor the Doctor recognized the problem. Additionally, the close association of Sleep Apnea with High Blood Pressure, Diabetes, and Congestive Heart Failure made a missed diagnosis potentially catastrophic. Even after the diagnosis is established many patients find the CPAP treatment uncomfortable and difficult. Without the proper guidance and follow up care they become discouraged and stop treatment. THIS CAN LEAD TO DISASTEROUS RESULTS.
The CSC founders believe that this was an extremely important issue and as such required a knowledgeable and dedicated team, to assist and support patients. We have assembled that team and are committed to providing the highest quality care available any where for CPAP patients, so all of our clients can have the same great result that friend of mine had years ago. |
